There are a few Valerie Costa's out there.  I'm the one who was born and raised in SE Massachusetts, went to college in Boston, lived in Seattle for a while, and am now in Vermont.  Fundraiser, human rights & labor activist, master composter, mushroom forager, earthen building geek.
